A Bronze Christmas (Series)

The idea for this series spawned from some gifts I gave to my siblings for Christmas of '06.  I gave 2 siblings bronze sculptures that were part of my 2006 BFA senior thesis, which were based on them.  From there the idea to create a bronze for a family member every Christmas was born.  Starting in 2007 the first official piece of this series was the "Shadow Heartless".  This sculpture initially started the gaming theme for the following year's gifts.  Next up was "Samus" (2008).  The "Jayhawk" (2009) broke away from the video game theme, but it soon returned for Christmas of '10, with the statues of "Tira" and "Nightmare".  2010 was the last year this series was carried out, BUT...it's going to return this year (2013)!  So stay tuned.​
